About this event
This workshop invites educators to shift their understanding of behaviour from something to manage
or correct to something meaningful to listen to. Participants will explore behaviour as a form of
communication, especially when children lack the words to express their needs.
Through real-life examples, reflection, and practical strategies, educators will learn how to identify the                                                                       unmet needs underneath challenging behaviours and respond with clarity, empathy, and
appropriate boundaries. The session emphasizes connection-based guidance, emotional safety, and
co-regulation, helping educators support children without shame or punishment. Participants will
leave with tools they can use immediately to respond to behaviour with curiosity, confidence, and compassion.
